On My Radar: Craig Johnson's First Frost!

For those of you in the know, it's no surprise that I celebrate every time Craig Johnson has a new book out. I've loved his tales of Walt Longmire, the Sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming, since the very first one, The Cold Dish.

Weel, friends and neighbors, there's a new Longmire mystery in the pipeline! Let me share more about it.

Available May 28, 2024!

Synopsis:

"Walt Longmire returns in this twentieth installment of the award-winning and bestselling series that has been a hit on both the page and the screen. Set in the unspoiled countryside of Wyoming, Sheriff Walt Longmire has to navigate his own increasingly complicated personal life with the ever-changing and often violent underworld that encroaches on what was once referred to as the Old West. This time, he is up against a sinister plot that could hurt the people closest to him and forever change the way he sees his beloved Wyoming."

That synopsis certainly doesn't say much, but those of us who have already read The Longmire Defense are waiting to see how one new development in Walt's life turns out. I'm really looking forward to this one, and I know many of you are, too!

  1. You say Craig Johnson? You say Walt Longmire? Yeah, I'm there, Cathy. No need to persuade me that this one will be worth looking up. How does he do it after so many books?!

    1. He's been busy. I have no idea how he can keep up with his writing after all the personal appearances he makes every year.

  4. I read several of the books in this series but it's been quite a while since I read one. Maybe I need to get back to it.
