On this day when I am so very thankful for all my many blessings (and you're one of them), I thought I would stay on topic with books, but share some book covers that make me smile. I hope they make you smile, too.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I've never ever met a puppy I could resist, and I love these covers to pieces!
Wonderful. Happy Thanksgiving, Cathy, enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cath!
DeleteAwww, those are great covers, Cathy! They made me smile, too, so thanks. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Denis!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
DeleteThanks for the cute puppy pictures! They made me smile, too. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. :D
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
DeleteI hope your Thanksgiving was just what you wanted it to be.
ReplyDeleteIt was. Happy Thanksgiving!
DeleteHappy holiday. Hope you have a nice day. And, yes, those puppy covers are adorable.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Kathy!
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving! I'm definitely grateful for the day I found your blog 🙂
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank you, FR! Happy Thanksgiving!
DeleteI should also say, in keeping with the Indigenous peoples' events, that the Thanksgiving holiday is commemorated by Native people with a National Day of Mourning. One major event took place in Plymouth, Mass, with over 1,000 people.
ReplyDeleteThe real history of this day was written about at the Today Show blog and in the Guardian newspaper. And there was also a national story covered in AP or Reuters.
I realize that, Kathy. It would be nice to be able to be thankful for all my many blessings without being reminded that some of them were built upon the misery of others.
DeleteI don't intend to do that. I have commemorated the holiday while still organizing people to go ot Plymouth until the pandemic occurred.
ReplyDeleteI am veyr glad press coverage is explaining the day's history, which is a good thing.
But I say enjoy the day, good food, friends, family and our ability to do so in spite of the pandemic and everything else.
