No, you didn't read that header wrong, I do have more than one bookcase of To-Be-Read (TBR) books. As you can see in the photo above, I actually have FIVE bookcases filled with books that I want to read. So... if I were to go on total lockdown, I may starve, but I would not have to worry about reading material.
I figured I wasn't the only book lover jonesing for a browse amongst the stacks, so I thought I would try to ease some of those literary pangs by showing you my own TBR shelves, one bookcase at a time. You could possibly find new-to-you books and authors, smile because we share some reading DNA, or frown because you don't see some of your personal favorites on my shelves.
One thing I learned in attempting this series of posts was how reflective book covers are. You would've laughed at me trying to find just the right angle as I went up and down the line! There is one photo per shelf, and I've purposely left the file sizes large so that you can tap, click, and manipulate each one in order to see all the titles. Unfortunately, there are still some that may be difficult to read. If you want to know what a certain title is, just leave a comment saying something like "Cathy, what's the title of the fifth book from the left on shelf #2?" I'll let you know in a reply. Or you can even tell me to hurry up and read a certain book. Easy peasy!
Time to browse!
|Shelf #1 from Aaronovitch to Baker...|

What say you? Ready for bookcase #2 next week?
