Oh, you've got some good 'uns here, Cathy. I'm interested in New Orleans Noir for some time when I want short stories. I like Julie Smith's work, and it would be interesting to see how she does as editor. I'll look forward to your reaction when you've read it.

ReplyDeleteI've only read books in his Tracy Crosswhite series, and I've really enjoyed them. Strong, believable female character. I think you'd like them, especially if you start at the beginning.
DeleteI loved The Splendid and the Vile, but I am a WWII history buff so of course, I wanted it. Definitely was not disappointed. I also like Charles Todd, Jeri Westerson, and Vicki Delany!
