The Nothing Beats an Arizona Sunset Weekly Link Round-Up

Nothing much to report this week, but that will certainly change in the very near future. A photo that my husband, Denis, posted to his Facebook page made me ponder. The political climate has been rather fraught the past few months, and Facebook has been filled with so much of it that I've curtailed diving into it from time to time. Then people finally began to get as sick of it as I, and they began posting "art breaks" or "Hollywood breaks" to ease up on the politics.

I've participated in the art and Hollywood breaks a bit, but I find that I've been posting my own versions instead. You can usually count on me to find cute animal videos, but my go-to political break objects have been photos of Arizona sunsets. Denis took the photo to the right at Sky Harbor International Airport here in Phoenix one evening.

Mother Nature can work wonders with the setting sun and some clouds, and Arizona is the only place I've lived that's consistently had one awe-inspiring sunset after another (and more than a few gorgeous sunrises, too).  Looking at a sky filled with blazing amazing color combinations can really help to clear the junk out of my head. How about you?
