The Checked Off My List Weekly Link Round-up

Just a short catch-you-up before heading straight for the meat and potatoes....

I don't know how many of you pay attention to my semi-regular series While Miz Kittling Knits, but I just wanted you to see that I did finish the coverlet I spoke about in one of those posts. It is extremely warm-- remind me not to attempt knitting anything like this in the summer!-- and extremely heavy (to lug around, not to snuggle under). By the time I'd reached the halfway point on it, I'd felt as though I'd enrolled in a weightlifting class.

Tonight our first house guest arrives who'll be able to give it a few good test sleeps. Since it isn't getting all that cool at night, I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up sleeping on top of it!

Time to head out to the corral; those links are getting fractious. Head 'em up! Moooooove 'em out!

  1. That is a gorgeous bed cover, Cathy!! You have talent! And now, speaking of chambers, I'm going to go follow along with that King Tut story. Isn't it fascinating?

    1. Was it hot to sit, hold, and knit that thing? In a word... yes. This is why I worked on it during the winter. If I tried something like this during the summer, I'd have prickly rash, heat stroke, heat exhaustion... the works! LOL
