You Should Have a Classic Name |
You are practical and cool-headed. You stay composed, even in the face of drama and chaos. You carry yourself well, and you are quite classy. You have impeccable manners, and people like being around you. You are not a big risk taker, and no one would accuse you of being wild. You like to stick with what's tried and true. Classic names like Elizabeth, James, Victoria, Henry, Charlotte, William, or Anna would suit you. |

What Type of Name Should You Have?

This one doesn't fit me at all. It says I should have a retro name:
ReplyDeleteYou are the first to admit that you are a bit drawn to the past. You love old fashioned things and sometimes wish for simpler times.
You embody the grace and charm of the past. You also have an amazing flair and style that others envy.
You believe that looking back can provide us with a lot of perspective and forgotten gems. History is less stodgy than it seems.
Retro names like Clara, Richard, Ida, Charles, Margaret, Frank, Alice, Arthur, and Grace would suit you.
Hmmm... I don't think this suits you either, Kathy.
DeleteI got the classic name, too. I fit some of this description, but while I like many classic names, I also like several unique ones, especially for women. I partially fit this, but not altogether.
ReplyDeleteAnd, my name is Kathleen. Few people have called me that. My mother called me Katarina sometimes; my father called me katydid when I was a child. The only people who call me by my full name are receptionists or other staffpeople at doctors' offices.
I found out recently that my name is Anglicized from the Irish form, Caitlin. I would have loved to have been named Caitlin. No one in my elementary or high school or even collage had that name.
Once in a blue moon, I'll have someone call me Catherine as if bestowing upon me the honor of calling me by my full name. I always want to roll my eyes when that happens, but so far I've restrained myself.
