I worked retail for way too long to be tempted to join the shopping madness. Today, I'm going to get Denis off to work, put some Cajun dirty rice in the slow cooker, do a bit of ironing, take some photos, and then fix myself a big mug of Christmas tea and curl up with my copy of Diane Setterfield's Bellman & Black. I hope you all had the best Thanksgiving ever, and if you're out there shopping, stay safe!
