Birds fly. Dogs bark. Fire burns. I read. (Mostly mysteries.)
LOL, I think we must be about the same age! My sister Kathy had a Chatty Cathy doll. I was so jealous that there wasn't a Chatty Mary Beth doll! What a sweet memento.
I had a Chatty Cathy and a Chatty Baby! Too funny. Those were high-tech dolls. LOL.
Cathy - What a great little note! Thanks for sharing a part of your past...
That is precious! My mom swears Chatty Cathy dolls were named for me.
I love that your Mum kept this for you.
Aww:) I had a Kissy Doll. Does anyone remember those? Squeeze her hands together and she puckered to kiss you.
Mary-- Yes, those dolls were quite popular in the day, weren't they? LOLCandace-- I didn't get the Chatty Baby, but I did get a Chatty Cathy when she debuted. I wonder why? LOLMargot-- I'm glad you enjoyed seeing it!Kathy-- Nah. You spell your Kathy wrong! ;-)LindyLouMac-- Yes. I opened a box and walked quite a distance down Memory Lane one night.Peggy-- I'll have to look that one up because I don't remember it.

That is so sweet!Shelleyrae @ Book'd Out
William-- Yes, I did. I think it was my favorite of the three.Joe-- I know!Shelleyrae-- I can even remember if I got those things or not! LOL
Cathy, that is such a sweet thing for a mom to do and for a daughter to still have. I've kept some of my own daughter's special notes given to me when she was a child. When I show them to her now, she makes a face. But she's a mom now, so she'll be saving things soon enough.
Yvette-- I imagine she will be! LOL
I love your last line--I like you! Very funny.
Stephanie-- That same line made me laugh when I read it!
