Weekly Link Round-Up from the Pool

Well, not exactly from the pool-- too much of a chance that I'd ruin my netbook. However, I have been spending a lot of time out in the pool, and lately I've been turning into a giant prune because I've been reading an Advance Readers Copy of Reginald Hill's The Woodcutter. What an amazing book! I've totally been losing track of time and of my surroundings... so much so that the automatic pool cleaner that makes its way around the pool vacuuming up dirt and debris managed to sneak up to where I was sitting and tried to perform liposuction on my left hip. Man, that smarts! I'm thinking about telling Denis to put a bell or something on the darned thing so I'll know where it is at all times.

Before I go off and check the bruise on my hip, let's see what I have in the way of links this week!

  1. Off to investigate some of these, especially the one about giving a bad review :(

  2. It's wonderful to see a new library with actual books, but--I dunno--the futuristic look seems to take away something from the browsing experience.

Thanks again for round-up. Keep cool!

  3. LindyLou-- All part of our culture, I'm afraid. That and the fact that there are too many lawyers with too much time on their hands....

Debbie-- I don't particularly care for the futuristic look myself!

  4. Oh my, you gave me a laugh because I though you said you had turned into a giant prude out there in your pool :D

I joined Google+ today. I can see some of the advantages, but I felt quite lonely in there.

NB: shouldn´t there be a link to Penelope Lively? I´d love to see what she has to say.

  5. Dorte-- And that made ME laugh! Thank you so much for pointing out the lack of a link to Penelope Lively. I've rectified that. And now I have no excuse to avoid going out to the kitchen to put together that casserole. On the bright side, I'm getting in the pool afterwards-- and keeping an eye on that pool cleaner!
