  4. I love that the bird seems to be saying, "More, please!" Great "get!"

  5. I can "hear" that little bird singing! What a sweet picture. It brings to mind a beautiful spring day when you can't not spend it outside!

  7. Beth-- For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the online shop. I did a search and came up with this: http://www.serenityhealth.com/solar_fountains/blue_ceramic_cascade_lg.html?SID=blue+ceramic+cascade+solar&PID=2723374&AID=10273768
which is the right fountain. It's solar, and I figure with a bit of a search, you should be able to find an even better price on it.

Mary-- Thanks! I was only sitting 4 feet away.

Kathy-- I loved that fountain and was less than pleased when the neighborhood cats broke it. People: Keep your cats on your own property!!!!!!!

Dorte-- One of my favorite colors. The birds loved that fountain.

    Eleanor-- Thank you!

Amy-- Or a day in early summer when you're sitting in the pool and the birds know the only thing you'll aim at them is your camera. :)

    TBG-- I think he was!

  8. Hi Cathy,

It is always great to see pictures of wildlife, in your own back garden, isn't it?

Now that winter is well and truly upon us, here in the UK, we have put out all our winter bird feeders and water fountains, it's now like 'happy hour' out there, a real joy!

  9. Yvonne-- Some of the best photos I've ever taken have been in my own garden. We may not have snow and cold here in Phoenix, but we have something I prefer anyday: all sorts of wonderful migratory birds come down here to spend the winter!
