Just Call Me the Head Chicken Wrangler

Suzanne of Chick With Books has presented me with the Zombie Chicken Award for

...excellence, grace and persistence in all situations, even in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. These amazing bloggers regularly produce content so remarkable that their readers would brave a raving pack of zombie chickens to read their inspiring words.

I do want to thank Suzanne for her recognition. I truly appreciate it. Now that I hope I've made that perfectly clear, I may just post about life with a flock of zombie chickens. No feeding required. They're feral and fend for themselves quite well. As I've said before, I attribute the neighbor kids no longer leaving their basketball in my yard as a sign of my flock's vigilance. I'm also beginning to wonder if they have anything to do with the fact that fewer stray cats seem to be prowling the backyard? I never knew that life as a chicken wrangler had so many perks!

All kidding aside, I'm not passing this one along because I've seen it everywhere. However, if you've been neglected and would like to have a zombie chicken of your very own, feel free to take one of my flock. They're very handy critters to have around!

It just now hit me....Chick With Books...Zombie Chicken Award...is there anything you want to tell us, Suzanne? (Besides the fact that you have a great blog?)

  4. Thank you, all!

I figure if I can be the head bat wrangler at the old Target store I worked in, I should be able to be a chicken wrangler, too! :)
