More Love...

This has been a good week for Blog Love, and I'm not complaining! (Is there ever a BAD week for any kind of love?) Dorte of DJ's Krimiblog just honored me with the Sisterhood Award. The name of the award means a great deal to me. Here are the rules of the award:

IF YOU ARE ONE OF MY NOMINEES, PLEASE GO AHEAD AND....
1. Put the logo on your blog or post.
2. Nominate up to 10 blogs which show great attitude and/or gratitude!
3. Be sure to link to your nominees within your post.
4. Let them know that they have received this award by commenting on their blog.
5. Remember to link to the person from whom you received your award.
Normally I wimp out when it comes to passing an award along; picking and choosing among friends just doesn't set well with me. However, once in a great while, it suits me to be unpredictable, so I am choosing ten fellow book bloggers to whom I'm giving this award. They have all shown me great attitude in the months that I've been blogging.

And the winners are:
  1. Beth of Beth Fish Reads. I know she's already received this award, but she's just going to have to deal with a second helping!
  2. Kathy of Bermudaonion's Weblog
  3. Sheri of A Novel Menagerie
  4. Lilly of Reading Extravaganza
  5. Wendy of Musings of a Bookish Kitty
  6. Bernadette of Reactions to Reading
  7. Kim of Sophisticated Dorkiness
  8. Susan of The Book Chook
  9. Jenners of Find Your Next Book Here
  10. Kerrie of Mysteries in Paradise
Long live the Sisterhood!

  1. Well, I am tickled that you thought of me, even though I have fore-sworn awards. Thanks, Sistah!

Cathy, i see you are reading In the Woods. I'll be so interested to see what you think of that one, which is one of the few books for grownups that I've read recently. I won't comment ... YET!

  3. I am blushing. Thanks Cathy. I haven't passed on awards before either (same reason as you - I hate playing favourites). But I will ponder the idea.

  9. Wow, you really did read the rules??? (you were not the only one I thought of when I predicted that some of my nominees would not do it anyway LOL)
I have put up my own list of 10 characters I´d like to meet now. Thanks for the great idea.

  10. Susan--I understand about foreswearing awards...it can be agonizing to pick and choose with whom to share them!

    You're welcome, Sheri!

You're welcome, Bernadette. It doesn't matter whether or not you choose to pass it along.

I see that, Kerrie, and an excellent gang of victims it is, too!

    You're welcome, Beth and Kathy!

Thank you, Serena and Avis! I'm with you, Avis--I hadn't seen this one before either.

Dorte--I told you that I like being unpredictable once in a while! I love your 10 Character list and added a link to it in my post.

  12. I am soooooo honored. You cannot even imagine what this award means to me, Cathy. I needed it I guess as a sort of validation since the days past were not the best. Thank you so much.
