What's Your Valentine's Day Personality?

Your Valentine's Day Personality is Practical

As far as you're concerned, Valentine's Day is simply a commercial holiday. You don't place any real meaning on it. You don't think it deserves too much celebration.

For you, Valentine's Day is just the day you avoid restaurants and candy stores. If you love someone, you already show it. You don't need to go all out for a silly holiday to prove your love.

Finally! A quiz that's pretty much "spot on" for me. I go out of my way to show love each day and don't need Hallmark, Godiva and FTD to remind me!

  1. I'm with you, Cathy. The really sad thing was, I didn't know any of those movies, so I had to choose blind.

Our stores have been pushing Easter eggs since they reduced prices on Christmas tinsel!

  3. same with me. I think that is another reason hubby and I get along so well neither of us worry ourselves to much over Valentines Day.

  4. Hee hee! I got the same as you. I enjoyed "When Harry Met Sally" but I chose "Eyes Wide Shut" because I haven't seen it and wouldn't mind seeing it.
I didn't actually realise it was Valentine's day until about 4 pm when I was working out the "eat by" dates on various things in the fridge, and checked the calendar. It is now 9.40 pm and I don't think my husband has realised yet that it is the 14th!

Our big day was actually last Saturday (7th) when our daughter Cathy was 18. She is such a lovely girl, that is more than enough love for us!

  5. Mine is a friendly personality, and it's right on for me, too. :)

You think of Valentine's Day as the perfect chance to show people you care. It's not exclusively a romantic holiday for you. You like to celebrate with your friends too.

Valentine's Day makes you nostalgic for cute cards and cheap candies. You love the idea of a Valentine's Day where everyone feels included.

  7. I love these quizzes ... I was like you until my husband surprised me today with a Kindle 2 (to arrive in two weeks) so now I am all for Valentine's Day!!!!

  9. that's so funny, what I posted about Valentines Day was pretty much the results of your quiz. I will have to take the quiz now and see if it turns out the same.

  10. We practical folk seem to be in the majority here, but we can't be in the outside world because of Hallmark, Godiva, FTD and all the diamond brokers. Speaking of which...here's a fact about me that convinces most women that I'm downright weird: I hate diamonds!

  11. Not trying for one-upmanship here Cathy, but ... my husband keeps wanting to buy me jewellery and I decline, hopefully with grace. Exasperated, he asks me what I want for a gift, then before my mouth fully opens in reply, he says "Not another book! You have so many!"

Diamonds fit down bathroom drains. Books don't.

Diamonds are a target for cat burglars. When's the last time you saw one lugging a bag of books over a roof?

Diamonds sparkle and flash for a short time, but a good book will shine throughout our lives.
