The Finishing Touches Weekly Link Round-Up

Although the mystery of why the previous owners of this old ranch house walled off a large chunk of their kitchen has not been solved to anyone's satisfaction, Denis and I have gained new knowledge of the house's history. It's a bright and chilly Thursday morning as I sit and type this. The remodelers are putting the finishing touches on the kitchen, and I can't wait to put everything to rights in there. Naturally, the Saturday finish time was optimistic; they had to special order some things and then couldn't come back until today, but I've learned to always take the promised finish time with a grain of salt. Too many things can happen!

Things are rather busy here, so I'll leave you with a photo of my view of the proceedings, and of course I'll be showing you the finished room in the near future.

  1. I'm glad there's progress on your kitchen, Cathy, and I hope it'll be done very soon. Can't wait to see the final product! 'Til then, I'm off to look at those stone carvings, and then to explore that tunnel in Mexico!

    1. Now I've read that there's a tunnel in Egypt that I'm positive you'll want to explore. I'll have the links next week!

  2. Putting together all these links must be incredibly time consuming. AND lots of internet surfing. I'm impressed and enjoyed clicking and reading all sorts of interesting things (the beaver video was cute).

    1. Actually, putting together the post itself is time consuming, but most of the links come to me through my inbox, so there's little surfing involved. It's something that I like doing, and I'm glad you enjoyed chasing down some of the links.
