Doesn't this sound perfect for the armchair-traveling detective?

I'm familiar with nine of the authors, and I'm really looking forward to reading the others. You know me-- always on the lookout for new authors. Now all I have to do is share The Perfect Crime's availability dates...

The Perfect Crime is available in the US in eBook format on March 3, 2022 and in hardcover format on September 13, 2022. (Or you can treat yourself to a hardcover copy by ordering it from the UK on March 3.)

I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on a copy, and I hope that some of you are as well.

  2. I love short story anthologies, as anyone addicted to the Akashic books does, and I really like the sound of this one. So many new-to-me authors and cultures to learn about. I'm definitely going to look for this one.

  3. This looks like a great way to dip your toe into some new authors. I'll have to see if I can get ahold of it.

  4. There were some interesting books in Sarah Wenman's Jan. 23 Crime column in the NY Times book review.

  5. Even though I'm not usually fond of short stories, the combination of good authors (those that I recognize, at least; the others benefit from their association with them) and varied locations put this one on my radar also.

  6. Looks good to me. Either I buy it or the library has it.
I can't set up the Kindle until the new router, etc., are set up.

    1. Too bad you're under a forced technological delay.

  7. Yes. A FTD is the way to put it. I've been sick and not ready to have a technical whiz I know come over and do any work with new laptop, router, extender, cables, and now Kindle.

  8. Really! Can't wait for the new laptop, etc. And I do not have a book to clutch continually, which is annoying.

Watching more PP and Sulari Gentill was fun. She has a lot of depth, more than her series shows. She is a thinker.
