I'm going to keep this short and sweet for two reasons. One, I'm still trying to play catch-up with my blog posts now that I'm feeling much better. When you've been blogging for so long, you've got a routine, and when you slip off the rails... ouch! Two, Denis has taken some well-deserved time off work, and I'd much rather be spending some of that time with him. Hopefully, we can get out to the Wildlife World Zoo or the Desert Botanical Garden while he's home.
I showed a modicum of restraint last month. There were fewer bargains to be had, and I had my mind on other things. I've grouped my acquisitions by genre/ subgenre, and if you click on the title, you will be taken to Amazon US for more information about that book. Let's see what I couldn't resist!
The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See. Set in Korea.
Tidings of Death at Honeychurch Hall by Hannah Dennison. Set in England.
Apprehend Me No Flowers by Diane Vallere. Set in Texas.
Dead Woman Driving: Episode 2: Raising the Dead by Sue Ann Jaffarian. Set in Missouri. My review on Goodreads.
Blood Memory by Margaret Coel. Set in Colorado.
The Christmas Carol by M.J. Lee. Set in England.
Deep Waters by Barbara Nadel. Set in Turkey.
Lock Every Door by Riley Sager. Set in New York City.
Careful What You Wish For by Hallie Ephron. Set in the USA.
What do you think? Are there any that tickle your fancy? Any that you've already read and can give a thumbs-up to? Which ones? Inquiring minds would love to know!
