Sometimes it's dangerous to go window shopping online. That's what I did late one night in August, and I wound up going on a spree-- mainly with books from two different authors. At least no one can say that my literary security blanket is looking threadbare!
I've grouped the additions to my stockpile by genre or subgenre, and if you click on the title of the book, you'll be taken to Amazon US to learn more about it, so beware if you're a reader in a different country and wish to make a purchase. I am not affiliated with Amazon; I just own one of their Kindles.
Let's take a look at the list and see if I managed to purchase any titles that tickle your fancy...

As you can see, the spree I went on consisted of books by Cynthia Harrod-Eagles and Quentin Bates, and if any of you were sharp-eyed enough to see that #33 was missing from my Harrod-Eagles spree, that's because I already own a copy of that particular book in the series. (Fabulous series, by the way!)
Did any of the titles tickle your fancy? Which ones? Inquiring minds would love to know!
You have some nice additions there, Cathy. I want to check out that Frankie Y. Bailey. I liked The Red Queen Dies, and haven't had a chance to read her since.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to read Bailey for a long time.
DeleteI had to take a look at which of Quentin Bates' books were on my Kindle. I was a missing a couple, so guess what happened? Ha!
ReplyDeleteSee what happens when you read other people's book blogs? LOL
DeleteI had an earlier series of Cynthia Harrod Eagles which I loved to read (again).
ReplyDeleteI know she writes the Bill Slider mystery series, but I discovered that Morland Dynasty series back in the 1980s and have been a fan ever since.
