Your Spirit Dog is a Dachshund |
You have a fiercely independent spirit, and you see life as a grand adventure. You love charting your own course. Like a dachshund, you have your own ideas about things, and it's not easy to change your mind. You are very clever and even a little sneaky. You have a good sense of timing and intuition. You may be stubborn, but you are still a devoted friend. You will stick out your neck to help someone you care about. |

What's Your Spirit Dog?

I seem to be a cocker spaniel. But I will say I have a dachshund niece across the hall, whom I adore. She has made me laugh, run around, pet incessantly, take for walks, exercise (with her on my torso) -- and be outsmarted.
ReplyDeleteI'm not as bold as she is nor quite as adventurous nor as tough. She'll follow a scent anywhere, doggedly pursue a spot where she thinks birds or rodents are, not back down when larger dogs annoy her or come into her territory. A lab in my building was afraid to go in the elevator when she was in it.
But she is so much fun and always up for a game, a chase -- and, of course, a snack 24/7. Now that she's older, nearly 14, sleep is a big part of her life. But she's still perky and fun.
Sounds like a wonderful dog, Kathy. What's her name?
DeleteLike Kathy D., my spirit dog is a cocker spaniel.
ReplyDeleteI knew a very special cocker spaniel once whose name was Debbie.
DeleteMy dachshund niece is Lucie.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good name for a dachshund!
