A First Here at Kittling: Books
Nothing fancy at all for this post. I just wanted to take the time to tell you that I'm doing something I've never done since beginning this blog back in 2008: I'm taking a break. Don't worry, this isn't due to health problems for either Denis or me. It's just time to blow some dust out and get a fresh perspective.
Yes, I do have a few posts pre-scheduled, but not many. However-- have no fear, I shall return!

Have a wonderful, restful and reflective hiatus. Everyone needs one now and then.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes don't answer the phone and hang out my virtual "Do not disturb. I'm reading" sign. And I read and am on a short vacation.
When I was working, I used to believe that the moment I stepped foot on my property I was "out of town." I still feel like that to a large degree. My home is my haven. And I usually feel that wherever I hang my hat is home. :-)
DeleteCathy - I cannot think of anyone who deserves a break more than you do. Enjoy your rest and we'll be looking forward to seeing you when you get back.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Margot!
DeleteEnjoy your time away - you will be missed!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying it very much, Kathy. Just thought I'd peek in to see how things were going!
DeleteI'm going to miss you, Cathy, but you certainly have earned a rest. After a while blogging every day becomes a burden rather than something you really want to do. I know you'll miss it and come back refreshed though, so I'll look forward to that day. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteHappy Happy! :-)
DeleteBreaks are good. Enjoy yourself.
ReplyDeleteI am, Joe. Thanks!
DeleteEnjoy. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am, Cath! :-)
DeleteHave a good rest!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward very much to your return. :-)
Aw... thanks, Debbie!
DeleteEnjoy your break! Sounds like a good idea. Perfect for spring.
ReplyDeleteIt would be perfect, if spring would ever get to the part of the world in which I'm staying! LOL
DeleteI didn't know where to put this comment, so I thought I'd put it here and say that even if you took some time off, you were reading and writing reviews up a storm.
ReplyDeleteI just read your review of the new Elly Griffith/Ruth Galloway book, A Dying Fall, at Goodreads and liked it very much.
I'm now reading this one and enjoying it.
That's very good to hear, Kathy. And-- as you can see-- I'm climbing back in the saddle by first catching up with any comments I haven't responded to!
