Birds fly. Dogs bark. Fire burns. I read. (Mostly mysteries.)
What a lovely insect!
Wow, I've never seen one of those in Tucson! (not that I've been looking...)
Pretty. It looks like a cross between a honeybee and a dragonfly.
Kathy-- It certainly likes to wear stripes, doesn't it? :)Jill-- I normally don't have to look... they seem to come looking for me! I would imagine you've got a few of these in Tucson; they're just hiding! :)Barbara-- Now THAT would be a combination! LOL
It has tiger stripes! Never seen one like that before.
Nicely done - great shot!
Leslie-- I've almost worn out my copy of COMMON DRAGONFLIES OF THE SOUTHWEST. If you do see one of these fellows in your neck of the woods, it is very, very lost! LOLSuziQ-- Don't you just love it when your shots come to you? I do! Thanks!
Thank you for taking the time to make a comment. I really appreciate it!
