Getting Ready for Taroko Gorge

I thought I'd share a video with you today to get you in the right frame of mind for tomorrow's review of Taroko Gorge by Jacob Ritari. The book's action all takes place within Taroko National Park in Taiwan. I read the book before looking for any visuals of its setting, so it was interesting for me to see the real thing versus what I'd imagined.

  2. Cathy, I am loving these little extras you've been providing lately along with your reviews. I have a copy of TAROKO GORGE and hope to read it soon. I'll be interested in reading your thoughts tomorrow.

I pointed my mystery book group at your post last week about the Shetland Islands as we had just discussed RAVEN BLACK.

  5. OK, just give me a few minutes to grab my passport and pack; I'm ready to go to Taiwan. I really don't know anything about the island, but this video makes it very enticing.

Barbara-- May I go with you?

Beth-- I don't think I liked it as much as you did. C'est la vie!
