Scene of the Blog Featuring Megan of write meg!

One of the first things that will strike you as you read this Maryland blogger's posts is Megan's enthusiasm. Whether it's writing about her Etsy finds, or the books she couldn't (or could) finish, or how people pronounce her name, or trips to the UK, reading write meg! is like getting a mega-dose of sunshine. She may not be 100% positive 100% of the time (who is?), but that enthusiasm of hers is infectious.

You haven't visited Megan's blog? Something tells me that's about to change!

It is time for me, as Master of Ceremonies, to step aside and let Megan show us where she distills and bottles that enthusiasm for us all to enjoy. Remember: you can click on each photo to view it full size. Over to you, Megan!

I'm a pretty mobile blogger and love to stay clued in, so I'm constantly running around with my laptop or keeping track of comments and responding to e-mails from the office. My work desk is complete with a framed picture of both John Mayer AND my boyfriend (see, I'm fair!) and usually has books scattered across the surface to be read on my lunch break or shared with coworkers.

My laptop is where I do my heavy blogging -- and that's usually from the comfort of my favorite chair.

I'm also known to sit at the kitchen table and type out some book reviews on the weekends, so I couldn't leave that scene out, either.

For good measure, I'm also including a photo of me laying by one of several TBR stacks in my house -- this one covering part of the floor of my room! I wish I had a great space to store all my literature, but I'm stuck finding ways to stash the books out of the way for the time being. Maybe someday! Until then, I'll keep on the move . . . and keep reading and sharing books with the awesome book blogging community at write meg!

I love how Megan included photos of the various places in which she blogs. That laptop makes her truly mobile! She's got a comfy chair in which to relax and create, and when the mood strikes her, she can blog out in the kitchen in the sunshine coming in from the window. And I would imagine that I'm not the only one holding my head at a rather strange angle trying to read the titles on the books in that last photo!

Thanks so much for the tour, Megan! We really appreciate being able to see where you blog.

Don't forget to stop by next Wednesday and see the creative space of another book blogger!

  3. I too love that chair. Don't worry about piles of books on your floor; we all have them.

  4. Thanks so much for the opportunity, Cathy -- and thanks, everyone, for your kind words about my comfy chair! :) It's been "my spot" in the house since I was a little kid, and I can't imagine parting with it... even though it's definitely seen some better days, haha!

  5. This proves my theory that laptops are one of the top inventions in the computer world. A blogger is not tied to one place. Thanks Megan and Cathy for sharing all the spaces.

  7. Being mobile is one of the best reasons for having a laptop! I'm glad you make full use of that, Meg! Great pictures. =)

  11. Great post - as usual.

"And I would imagine that I'm not the only one holding my head at a rather strange angle trying to read the titles on the books in that last photo" - well, I angled my computer - another advantage of having a laptop ;)

  16. Dorte-- Unfortunately I don't compose posts on my netbook. This huge monitor is rather difficult to tilt! LOL
