  1. Beautiful picture, and you have inspired me to post my own Wordless Wednesday photo of the Eagle and Child pub in Oxford. Thank you!

  6. It says England immediately, doesn't it.

(Aside: Cathy, I can't believe how quickly your page loads now. I must take a hard look at my widgets!)

  8. The color, the architecture of the building, etc. is beautiful. Weird that I am, the first thing I noticed was that the cars are parked on the wrong side of the street. I'm glad you wrote that this was England.

  9. Molly-- You're welcome! I loved seeing it!

Beth-- I spotted it on the way to an antiques fair. Glad you like it.

Dorte-- I'll buy a round for everyone!

Kaye-- I tend to like simple things, and not just because I'm simple-minded. ;)

    Stacy-- Neither would I!

Susan-- It certainly does! As for page load time... I sat here on more than one occasion and watched the lower lefthand corner of the screen as the page loaded. I could tell which widgets tended to slow things down, and I got rid of them.

Wendy-- I don't know about that... it's right next door to the Royal Lancashire Fusiliers or summat. Should be okay as long as we don't stop by on the weekend!

Margot-- You're not the only person who tends to "notice things". I don't always caption the photos, so I'm glad I did this time!
