ReplyDeleteThat was very interesting about page load time and its possible future effect on google ranking. I hadn't really thought about some of my widgets slowing my page down. Thanks, Cathy.
ReplyDeleteBack to say I liked the "hyperlink in new window", and "lengthen shortened url" stuff too. Very useful to me. Thanks again!

Natalie-- You're welcome. It was an excellent post!
Susan-- I had some widgets that I absolutely loved but I had to get rid of them because they killed my page load time. I'm glad you found my techie links so useful!
Great round-up of links and newly discovered blogs, Cathy.
ReplyDeleteI have to check into the techie links - wondering about page load time and opening links in a new window.
Dawn-- People have commented on my much faster page load time, and now I'm afraid to monkey with it! LOL I have noticed that I'm getting picked up by search engines much more frequently. Also, the "opening links in a new window"...I keep telling myself that I'm going to do this and then I forget because I know that all I have to do is right click on links to open them in another window. Not everyone knows that, though!
