It's Time for....Friday Feud!

It's time for another edition of Friday Feud here at Kittling: Books.

The rules are few and simple:

--Do not duplicate answers (or if you do, at least put your own spin on it).
--Post all your answers in the comments section of this post.

Now that all the boring stuff is out of the way, let's play the Feud!

This week's question:

You've just been put in charge of development for a major movie company. What's the first book you decide to turn into a movie?

  2. Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts...I heard quite a few years ago now that Johnny Depp bought the movie rights for this book, but I have yet to hear any further development of an actual movie yet.

A book that is well overdue for turning into a movie is 'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

  11. Samurai Kids series by Sandy Fussell (Australian author) would make a superb movie for kids and big kids like me. Set in feudal Japan about a group of kids, each of whom has a disability, and lots of action, humour and feel-good moments.

  12. I just finished The Chili Queen by Sandra Dallas. We could use a good Western.

  13. Definitely Outlander by Diana Gabaldon - and then I'd have an argument as to who would play Jamie!
