- The Guardian lists Malcolm Pryce's Top Ten Expatriate Tales. I was glad to see that I recognized most of them.
- I think I'll be marking my calendar to attend the Sedona Book Festival October 2 and 3. I find the combination of books and one of the most beautiful places on the planet an almost impossible one to resist!
- Spinetingler Magazine just named one of my favorite bloggers, Lesa Holstine, as Best Reviewer. Congratulations, Lesa, on this well-deserved honor!
- Publishers Weekly has an interesting article about Amazon's recent launch of the Kindle DX.
- The Guardian strikes again, this time with Brian McGilloway's Top Ten Modern Irish Crime novels.
- Chartroose of Bloody Hell, It's a Book Barrage! is resisting Twitter with all her might, but it didn't stop her from posting a Twitter-style book quiz with a $25 Barnes and Noble gift certificate hanging in the balance. As of this writing, the gift certificate is up for grabs, but even if it's been won, the comments are well worth the read!
- Corey of The Drowning Machine answered some crime-related questions in Up Against the Wall...! As usual with this blogger, I was either nodding my head in agreement or laughing...or both!
- The conversations about requesting ARCs are still swirling. Steph at Reviewer X asks Where Are We With Blogging? Some of us may be tired of the topic, but it's obvious that there are concerns in many bloggers' minds.
- Natalie of Book, Line and Sinker wants to know if there's a recipe for Cooking Up a Good Book Blog?
- DailyBlogTips talks about 43 Web Design Mistakes You Should Avoid.
- Dan Blank talks about How to Become a Superstar Blogger.
- There is a website for Free Web Page Headers.
- The Edublogger shows us how to Take the Agony Out of Using Custom Headers.
- Blogging Basics 101 talks about the benefits of guest posts in order to drive more traffic and gain more subscriptions to your blog.
