It's Time for...Friday Feud!

Welcome to this week's edition of Friday Feud here at Kittling: Books! The rules are simple:
  1. Do not duplicate answers.
  2. Post all your answers here in the comments section of this post.
Now...let's play The Feud! This week's question:

  1. Oh my gosh, there are so many, but I'm going to say London!

  2. The moon. They'll have shuttles there by the time I'm 90, right?

  3. Tuscany! It is the one place I absolutely have to go. I love everything about what I've seen and read and heard about the area and now I must experience it for myself!

  4. What an easy question ;)
See Venice ... and die (Which is why I don´t want to go to Italy - yet).

  6. I just have to see a pyramid, so Egypt. I also want to walk along the Great Wall of China and see the clay soldiers, so China. And I'll just stop there since I'm taking more than one answer. I can do that right? I've been so lucky that I've already been to several places in Europe. But I knwo I won't be fully satisified until I see (IN PERSON!) the things I named above.

  7. Provence!

I want to take my Peter Mayle books with me, and visit some of the places, eat some of the food and drink some of the wine he mentions.

    Bibliotourism here I come.

  11. Amy--I loved reading Moloka'i, too!

Jen--Scotland is a wonderful place to visit!

Jenners--Evidently Stonehenge can be a nightmare because it's so overrun with tourists. I found a very similar place in the Outer Hebrides that I want to visit the next time we are in Scotland. The Standing Stones of Calanais.

  12. I visited stonehenge a couple of years ago (see image header on my blog for a pic) and it wasn't very crowded. It was November though, so not summer tourist time. I was also told by several that you couldn't get up close, it wasn't impressive, not worth the drive etc. The husband and I both thought it was worth it and were glad we did go see it. But I think it would depend on when you go, off-season is always better as far as crowds go.

  13. Kris--I'm glad you and your husband had such a good experience there. Like just about every other touristy place, it depends a lot on the time of year you go there. I'm looking forward to taking the ferry across to the Outer Hebrides to take a good long ramble around their standing stones!

  14. Cathy - I wish I could come with you!!! My husband has some anxiety issues and he decided after our last trip to Europe (2 years ago) that he couldn't handle it anymore - at least not for awhile. Disapointed but what's a good wife to do? You'll have to take lots of pictures and then blog all about it so I can experience it through you.
