Birds fly. Dogs bark. Fire burns. I read. (Mostly mysteries.)
The Lemon Twist(I'm old)We used to sing "Lemon Twist, you can't do this."Try to figure it out!Sheri
Hula-hoop! (I'll put my hula-hoop up against Sheri's Lemon Twist any day!!)
Marbles ~ What can I say, I'm old. My KIDS played with lemon twist.
My little kitchen! I loved it, and was so upset when it broke.
Lego bricks! (I am not old, just from Denmark!) - I didn´t have many, because I was a girl! - but I loved playing with my male cousins´ bricks.
Betsy WetsyShe was the first doll made to go "wetsy" in her diaper. LOLOLOL
My cabbage patch kid! I used to stand on his head to see over my playpen before I used him as a "toy"
I had a Cindy barbie doll that I loved to play with when I was little.
Jump rope, even though half the time I tripped over it.
I had a dolhouse I made from a shoe box. There was furniture made of matchboxes. I had those tiny plastic dolls with arms and legs sticking straight out, which made anything but sitting very difficult for them. I used to steal my brother's plastic cowboys for action scenes!
EZ Bake Oven
Yogi Bear. My Yogi went to the hospital with me, and even got stitches when I had my tonsils out. I didn't think to take my current one (from my office at work) with me yesterday when they put a splint on my hand. Wonder if they would have given him one.Lesahttp://lesasbookcritiques.blogspot.com
Barbie! Can't believe that hasn't shown up yet!
Mrs. Beasley doll! She even had the little glasses and a pull string to make her talk.
Give me a set of jacks and a ball, and I could've conquered the world back then!
hmm skipping rope is taken, so on to tiddlywinks!
That big doll head where you put make-up and could style its hair. Can't think of what its name is. The irony is that I am not interested in either make-up or styling hair as an adult but I loved it as a kid!I love these games!
I had a Disney Cinderella and Prince Charming wind-up toy - once wound up they would dance around the floor - ah, the memories.
Thank you for taking the time to make a comment. I really appreciate it!
