  6. Kit--Denis and I stayed for a week in a cottage outside the village of Riseley, which isn't far from Bedford. There's so much to see in the area that I think I blew out the lenses on my glasses!

  7. Such a shame that pargeting is a dying art now. The kids of today just aren't interested in taking up an apprenticeship.
