Dorte--after plentiful winter rains, the Sonoran Desert can be one of the most colorful places on earth. In fact, I have a new photo slideshow at the bottom of the page, and it shows what parts of the desert looked like last spring.
Now I have met Ralph and the squirrel and all the other wonders of nature :) I enjoyed it really much, and see most of it as very exotic, but we also have lizards at home around our vicarage.
