6 Things That Make Me Happy

Julie over at Booking Mama tagged me for this fun little meme. In it, I'm supposed to list six things that make me happy, link back to the person who tagged me, and then tag six more people. I'm really strapped for time at the moment, so I won't tag anyone else. However, if you want to play along, you're more than welcome to do so!

My list is a literal one. "Things" to me are not human, so there will be no mention of my wonderful husband. Here is a list of six non-human things that make me happy:
  1. Blue skies and sunshine.
  2. Taking a photograph, looking at it and thinking, "I really nailed that one, didn't I?"
  3. Seeing the UPS truck pull up outside my house.
  4. Watching and listening to birds.
  5. My radiometer whirling away on the windowsill.
  6. Watching "Mamma Mia".

  1. Super list. I still haven't gotten to see Mamma Mia. It's first in my NetFlix queue, but I've been on "long wait" since late December!

  2. Denis made sure we had a copy the day it was released on DVD. We both love it!

  5. Thats a great list Cathy. I would have to agree on the blue skies and sunshine. Always makes me feel better when I can out and take a walk on a nice sunny day.

  6. I'm with you on 1, 2, 3 and 4. I don't know what a radiometer is, and I haven't seen Mamma Mia.

Nice list ... I hope you have a happy weekend!

  7. Loved your list! I totally relate the UPS one! I always feel like a kid on Christmas day ... even if I know what is coming!

And I need to check out Mamma Mia!

  8. Sunshine is a great one. It's hard to be unhappy on a beautiful day. And UPS means I'm getting books, so I'm with you on that too!

  9. Hey Pup--I think you're supposed to be sharing that rain of yours. I won't complain. We need it!

    You're welcome, Julie--it was fun!

Kathy--one thing I have to admit: I'm living in the right place for blue skies and sunshine! :-)

Perhaps we should start an I Heart UPS Drivers club? LOL

Dawn--I love radiometers. Check out this Wikipedia article on them.
