Arizona got walloped with rain over the weekend, and I've been enjoying watching all the videos taken of lakes filling with badly needed water. Usually a dry riverbed through the valley, the Salt River is running with a vengeance as dams have to release water to make room for more. My heart goes out to flood victims; I've had my own problems with flooding here, but Mother Nature treated Casa Kittling kindly this time. Just a modicum of flooding in the yard, and no mud and debris in the pool. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mother Nature!
Enough of the weather-- I have a conundrum! A few decades ago, I was in Costco and fell in love with a set of four dark blue soup mugs. They came home with me and have been used hundreds, if not thousands, of times since.
A week ago, I unloaded the dishwasher and put all its contents away. It wasn't until I noticed an empty soup mug hook on the rack that I found out one of the mugs was missing. Somehow, it disappeared from the dishwasher because I know it was in there when I turned it on. Now... I've heard of socks disappearing from the dryer, but... soup mugs from the dishwasher? I still haven't found the thing!

You know, Cathy, I've had forks do the same disappearing act on me! I *know* I've put more forks in the dishwasher than actually came out. Gremlins? The Extended Bermuda Triangle? Who knows. Oh, how close do you live to Area 51? Ya never know... At any rate, I hope you find the mug. While I'm visiting the 'Greek Pompeii,' I'll check if it's there...
