Time to Enjoy It All Weekly Link Round-Up

The stockings are carefully hung, I'm stitching on projects for next year's decorating, and Denis and I are doing fun things like going for a walk at the Deer Valley Rock Art Center.

With over 1500 petroglyphs on site, it's easy to see different ones each time we visit, and the wildlife is another draw as well. This time we were shadowed by hummingbirds, desert cottontails, a lizard, and a couple of ground squirrels. I have the feeling that the maze of paths and hiding places those animals have in that big hillside of boulders and rubble is astounding!

I wouldn't be at all surprised if we went someplace similar next week. It's just our way of enjoying the holiday season and thumbing our nose at the madness.  The only thing I have left for this week's agenda is going to the Poisoned Pen tomorrow to see authors Jenn McKinlay and Paige Shelton. (Can't wait!)
