I've been puttering instead of posting this week, but that doesn't mean that I haven't rounded up a few links for you to take a look at!
Bookish News
- Now I've seen everything-- a bookcase bathtub!
- A video explaining why a free Internet is so important.
- A book trailer for Stephen King's Under the Dome.
- This qualifies as "bookish" since two of my favorite episodes have quite a lot to do with books: the 14 Most Twisted Original Twilight Zone Endings.
- Have you heard about Intermountain Therapy Animals? This organization brings pets, children and books together in quite a wonderful way.
- I enjoyed this article about a bookshop in Amman, Jordan.
- Kristi of The Story Siren talks about using other people's work and the fine art of linking to other blogs.
- Molly and Andy of The Bumbles Blog talk about memes.
- I'm not sure when this poll ends, but Suey of It's All About Books wants us to vote on the best phrase for books that are bathroom reading.
- Of all the recaps of last week's Read-a-thon that I read, Margot of Joyfully Retired should get the award for hers. Her entire family participated and really brought the spirit of the event to life.
- Debbie of Debbie's World of Books wants to know Tweets, Diggs, Stumbles--What Really Counts?
- Jenners of Find Your Next Book Here has an excellent post about getting a custom domain through Blogger.
- Ever run across a dead blog? Here's some of the things that could be done with them.
- The Power of Being Personal on Your Blog from ProBlogger.
Stop by next Sunday when I'll have another list of interesting links for you to browse through!

Thank you for the links. I loved The Power of Being Personal article. maybe because I agree with the author :)
Don't you just love the trailer for King's book?! I certainly do.
I am looking forward to check out most of the links in this week's link round up. They all sound very interesting.
Oh my.. I want that bathtub and I don't even read in the bath (too afraid I'll damage my books)!!
Nice link roundup. Here's my weekly wrap up at Sunday Salon
I like those bathtubs! Our bathroom is not large enough for any tub, though.
And I am pleased to say that the two times I have killed a blog, I seem to have done the proper thing.
Thanks Cathy for featuring our Read-A-Thon experience. We did have a super time.
And, thanks for all the other links as well. It's become a fun way to spend part of my Sunday.
That bathtub looks really cool but I would never store books in the bathroom. I love steaming hot baths and the pages always get wrinkled. Poor books!
Lilly-- I love the trailer, too. I'm glad you found some links that interested you!
Louise-- Good! :)
JoAnn-- I think I could pull it off. I can read in the pool without damaging my books. On the other hand, I don't think I want to chance it!
Harvee-- You know I had to go over there and take a look! Thanks for stopping by. :)
Dorte-- It's certainly good to hear that you followed the rules while committing murder! ;)
Margot JR-- You should've seen the smile on my face while I read your post. I'm glad you spend part of your Sunday with me. :)
Jeane-- That's what I thought when I saw it. Too much moisture in the bathroom for book storage!
You know, one day I may just replace my Reader entirely with your Weekly Link posts! This one was especially good - I think I read most every one of them with great interest. Thanks for including us again too.
I don't read in the bathtub either, but love hearing about unlikely (to me) places people read.
The Bumbles-- Thank you so much for those kind words. It really tickles me that you enjoyed this post so much. Your confessions series on your blog is excellent!
Jeanne-- Me, too!
