There were times when...It was definitely different. There were times when I thought, "You idiot! What are you doing?" But it was interesting watching him having to rely on people he wasn't entirely sure he could trust. And considering the fate of the auctioned, it was probably better he didn't wait for the cavalry.

I enjoyed it. The very last bit was just a bit confusing because of his state of mind, but the way he ends up leaving the hospital is hilarious.Pepper Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00088936125225559789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-50222559657946740402018-09-27T14:30:47.350-07:002018-09-27T14:30:47.350-07:00I'd hate to tell you how many series *I* am be...I'd hate to tell you how many series *I* am behind on. I think Johnson is allowing us to see Walt as a complete person-- and no one is ever charming or interesting all the time.

I'm glad you left a comment. No two people ever read the same book, and it's good to see other points of view. I'd be lying if I said I didn't prefer Walt to be with his buddies, but I am willing to follow him wherever he goes and with whomever he happens to travel with. I did watch all the TV show and my husband has read all the books, including this one. Maybe I'll read them back-to-back, she sighs. This one was way too violent and I lost track of the body count and beatings, all lovingly described.
Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912929670343083772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-14587265344397769752018-09-27T05:05:45.446-07:002018-09-27T05:05:45.446-07:00I like the Walt Longmire character very much, too,...I like the Walt Longmire character very much, too, Cathy.
