Of course that has a lot to do with the company I keep!

Barbara-- I wouldn't exactly call myself sweet either! You should've seen me when I first started dying my hair. It took me a week to stop jumping and gasping every time I happened to look in a mirror!

Yvette-- You sound like you've gone the route my mother did. Stand my mother and me side by side, and I looked like the much older sister!

I'm glad to see someone else who can live amicably with our eight-legged friends. :)

Pepper-- I've earned every one of mine, too. But when I turned 40 I realized that I'd been gray for over well over half my life, and I wanted a change. Now I'm ready for another change. :-)

As for the black widow... she is no more, and as the guilty party, I feel guilty about it.

Debbie-- You folks have given me another idea for a blog post: Soliloquy on Gray Hair! Every new place we visit, I have to buy a map.

I usually leave spiders alone, unless they're running at my bare feet or just suddenly appear in front of me or on my clothes. But I think I'd have done something about the black widow, given the option.Pepper Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00088936125225559789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-80679624382468415632011-08-26T09:16:55.232-07:002011-08-26T09:16:55.232-07:00Cathy - My hair went in the opposite direction. (He is jealous of my full head of almost completely dark brown hair.)

People think I dye it. But I don't.

My mother had snow white hair. I loved it. Hope mine will do the same.

So many interesting facts about you Cathy. Hot air balloon. WOW! As for the spider thing, I never intentionally kill the spiders in my house. They eat insects which annoy me even more. We share an amicable existence too. :)

Well, at least you can admire strawberries from afar.Yvettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08919246184376538331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-71515917676006755612011-08-26T06:52:47.291-07:002011-08-26T06:52:47.291-07:00Somehow irresistibly sweet doesn't quite fit y...Somehow irresistibly sweet doesn't quite fit you: smart, funny, friendly, and clever, yes, but not irresistibly sweet which makes me think of gooey caramel or pecan pie. Well, congratulations.

A black widow spider? Boy, you can add brave to that list. Oh and I like natural hair. Mine now has a gray spot that looks like a bald spot if I glance in the mirror.
