Two irritating characters at the same time! Ha! No, I do understand the issues you had with Crystal. Our mystery group met last night and discussed Michael Connelly's book The Late Show - 1st in his new series with protagonist Renee' Ballard. Anyway, we had one woman attend for the first time, mostly because she wanted to tell us how much she couldn't stand Renee'. This woman has read every single book that Connelly has written, but she hates this new series lead. We agreed with some things she said and disagreed with others. It was all good. Hope she comes back. ;-)Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13495669354860191042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-83898229148741261372018-09-06T04:44:28.841-07:002018-09-06T04:44:28.841-07:00I do like the Stanley team's writing, Cathy. Interesting, isn't it, how the way you feel about a character can really determine how well you'll enjoy the book. I am glad you found a lot to like about this one.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
