I say that, iced tea and chocolate -- in the summer chocolate frozen yogurt -- is the healthy way to deal with bad moods and tough times.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-18732279577938011852013-06-28T11:31:44.274-07:002013-06-28T11:31:44.274-07:00Thanks for that concise critique on The Highway-- ...Thanks for that concise critique on The Highway-- I like it!

I think you're going to love Countdown City, too. I know people laugh when someone mentions "it's a dry heat," but I grew up in the Midwest. Low humidity makes a tremendous difference. Plus... I lived in this house for several years with no working central AC or evaporative cooler. I have all sorts of tricks for staying cool! It hits 100 degrees in the Big Apple a few times each summer -- and we all hibernate in a/c.

I grew up in Chicago and it would go into the low 100s during August, and we'd all sit in front of the fan, doing nothing and drinking iced tea by the gallon.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-3669661605975018652013-06-26T13:25:43.865-07:002013-06-26T13:25:43.865-07:00One of the best, Barbara! One of the best, Barbara!Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01774383554326288663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-57539314477818618842013-06-26T13:24:59.256-07:002013-06-26T13:24:59.256-07:00Yup. 120° by the weekend.
