This book has been #1 at Amazon for a while because of pre-orders, so I knew it would be popular as far as waitlists went!Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01774383554326288663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-41077854798928131642017-03-02T15:58:16.113-07:002017-03-02T15:58:16.113-07:00Haha, I'm back--#171! Heading to the library website right now to reserve it! I am a fan of Maggie Hope too, this looks quite good.holdenjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04563239351498816805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-39982397950280863122017-03-01T09:49:19.778-07:002017-03-01T09:49:19.778-07:00Yes! My day started bright and early with the installation of a new heat pump. At least there will be heat in the house tonight-- a sure sign that it will immediately start warming up again!Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01774383554326288663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-91075858623955618552017-03-01T09:46:37.777-07:002017-03-01T09:46:37.777-07:00She is a very talented writer, isn't she?She is a very talented writer, isn't she?Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01774383554326288663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-80673843758085154282017-03-01T06:38:32.003-07:002017-03-01T06:38:32.003-07:00I'm so excited about reading this book and wil...I'm so excited about reading this book and will feature it next Tuesday on the 'first paragraph' event of Diane's. I may 'cheat' a bit about the 'first' part. Anyway, this reminds me of not only the Maggie Hope books (big fan), but also of Foyle's War. I love anything related to Bletchley Park and just read some background info from Rhys on Jungle Reds about her writing and inspiration for this book. Are you going to the PP tonight for the launch party?Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13495669354860191042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-17446199449316836412017-03-01T05:48:30.302-07:002017-03-01T05:48:30.302-07:00You're so right, Cathy. She does that with her Molly Murphy mysteries, too. Glad you enjoyed this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
