The one family member in Scare the Light Away may be just as psychopathic as some of the characters in Flynn's novel, but the way Delany portrays him is much much easier on the mind and nerves!Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01774383554326288663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-1278306479038550092013-01-27T00:23:21.391-07:002013-01-27T00:23:21.391-07:00I do like Vicki Delany's Molly Smith's nov...I do like Vicki Delany's Molly Smith's novels, or at least the first one but I'll read more. I was wondering about her stand-alones and this one sounds good. But I hope the family isn't as psychopathic as the one in Gillian Flynn's Sharp Objects.

I need to find characters to like when I'm reading. A reliable narrator is important, too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-48940881610828044782013-01-26T11:56:20.487-07:002013-01-26T11:56:20.487-07:00I think you'd really like this one, Margot. I really do like Delany's Molly Smith novels so I'm pretty sure I'd love this one too. And the past/present connection, the diary plot point, etc..? Yeah, all appealing to me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
