I've read 4 of Jones' books to one of Stabenow's. It just means that I'll have to read more Stabenow. I can handle that! 8-)Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01774383554326288663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-31696836456564769262013-05-30T19:20:47.903-07:002013-05-30T19:20:47.903-07:00I have enjoyed the Kate Shugak books I've read...I have enjoyed the Kate Shugak books I've read. I don't necessarily read them in order but I've been reading them a long time. I always enjoy reconnecting with the characters when I pick one up. I never thought of them as being an introduction to Alaska. I find authors generally put their own mark on their books' settings even if the locales are the same. I feel a bit as though I've done a disservice to Stabenow, since her series came first, but I can't unread something, once read. :-(Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01774383554326288663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1999659125625323494.post-11259218767285208092013-05-30T04:59:42.552-07:002013-05-30T04:59:42.552-07:00Cathy - Interesting that your view of the Nathan A...Cathy - Interesting that your view of the Nathan Active series coloured your view of this one. I wonder how often that happens to people... I kind of like the Kate Shugak series but I can see how you'd come to it with a different view since you've read Jones.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
