How Should You See the World?

You Should Go By Boat

You have a romantic notion of travel, and nothing sounds better than you than hitting the world's oceans. Of course, you'd have plenty to explore at each port. But you'd relish your thoughtful downtime in the middle of the sea.

You equally like being in the middle of the action and getting away from it all. You need time to process and reflect. You believe that a world trip should be savored. You want to remember the special moments for the rest of your life.

  1. Hmmm, another crazy quit. I ended up with the quizzer telling me to go by car. That's probably right, but a train would be good, too.

It's interesting in that I realize my answers would be different at a younger age. For instance, I said I'd like to stay in a bed and breakfast. In my 20s, I would have said in a hostel. Now I say I'd like to visit Europe. In my 20s, I think I would have wanted to visit the Galapagos Islands and see what Darwin saw.

  2. ""quiz," not "quit." Oh, this late night typing never works out exactly as planned.

  3. I just redid the quiz as my 25-year-old self and it said I should go by bicycle. I did go on some bike trips but earlier on when we had no money and stayed at hostels in New England. Lots of fun.

  4. Yes, I too realized that my answers to some of the questions on these various quizzes would be different depending on what time of life I took them. One of those times when we're encouraged to pause and reflect a bit.
