What Scary Movie Are You?

You Are The Silence of the Lambs

You think the scariest thing in the world is the human mind. What serial killers are capable of frightens you to the core.
You aren't big on gore or action when it comes to horror movies. You'd rather delve deeper than that... and get completely disturbed.

In fact, you can hardly ever find a horror movie that compares to the nastiness of a true crime story. You couldn't think up the brutal crimes that occur in real life.
In your opinion, no monster can be as scary as a human. You don't have to look far to find someone that totally terrifies you.

  1. THE SIXTH SENSE (which really did freak me out)

You know what's scary? Death! And anyone who pretends otherwise is completely kidding themselves.
You often find yourself wondering what it would be like to be on the other side... even if there is no other side.

When you're all alone with your thoughts, you tend to be the most frightened. Confronting the harsh truths of life chill you to the bone.
What will happen do you when you're dead? Are dead people watching you right now? Those are some very freaky questions you ponder from time to time.

    1. Wow-- we got different answers! To tell you the truth, when I watched "The Sixth Sense" for the first time, I knew what was up within 15 minutes. I still loved the film.

  3. I'm Psycho: Very funny since that movie scared the you-know-what out of me and I still can't watch it or even think about it all these years later.

You think there's nothing scarier than the anticipation of something horrifying happening. It drives you insane to be in suspense.
You prefer scary movies that build up your fear and resist overwhelming you with scene after scene of gore. You like some thought being put into scaring you.

You find the idea of being totally vulnerable to a deranged killer to be incredibly frightening. You're the type of person who dreads being alone.
And yet you find deranged killers to also be quite fascinating, psychologically speaking. You can't help but be drawn to what terrifies you.

Actually, I don't like scary movies at all and don't watch them. Just call me a wimp. :D

    1. I haven't liked scary movies for years and years. Decades, in fact-- when Hollywood decided that masked psychopaths, stupid blondes in babydoll pjs and buckets of gore were what constituted "scary." "Silence of the Lambs" is an exception, but there's always an exception. Oooh! Just thought of another one: "Jurassic Park."

  4. I'm a scaredy-cat. I never liked scary movies; in fact, my sibling reminds me that she'd watch them on TV and I'd walk by and go read. I don't enjoy being frightened, never did. And I don't read books with horror, try to avoid books with psychopaths if I can help it.

When I was a teen-ager, my cousin had seen "Psycho." She told me about the shower scene on the phone. I didn't take a shower for a week, and I hadn't even seen the film!

I've seen Bride of Frankenstein and loved Elsa Lancaster, and I've seen a few others that weren't really horrifying, but this is a genre in books and movies that I avoid.

    1. We all have genres that we avoid. I know that I do. If I pick up a book and see the word "zombie," I drop it so fast you'd swear I'd been scalded. :-)
