Are You a Print Book or an eBook?

You Are an eBook

You are more of an eBook type, even if you haven't made the transition fully yet.
You like reading as much as the next paper book fan, if not more. You are dedicated to reading a lot.

In fact, you read so much that you really can appreciate the ease of eBooks. At this point, paper books slow you down. For you, there is nothing better than being able to get a new book cheaply and easily. You never know when the reading bug is going to strike you.

Are You a Print Book or an Ebook?

Hmmm... paper books don't slow me down, and I always know when the reading bug is going to strike!

  1. Humm. I'm an eBook too, but I would have thought I'd be print.

When it comes to reading, you really value quality over quantity. You are a devoted reader.
You don't like to rush through anything you are reading. You like to get up close and personal with your books.

Paper books suit you best, even if they are pricier and more difficult to obtain. Like a good story, they are worth it for you.
Besides, there is nothing you like more than having a beautiful bookshelf full of books you love. No eBook can do that for you.

    1. I knew at least one of us would represent paper books! :-)

  3. As I knew I would be, I am an e-book person. The quiz defined the difference between me and my wife perfectly. She does like to page through books, read the end before the beginning, etc. She would rather travel to the used book store and buy thirty books at once and then sock in with them. I prefer to shoot the request to Amazon or Google Books and have the new or older book sixty seconds later. Because we are relatively blessed, the cost is not an issue, but why pay more if you don't have to?

There are other advantages to e-books not often mentioned. They make a wide variety of books more available to those shut in. You can adjust type size or even turn on sound to better read if you are disabled. They give outlets for the growing number of less-popular but excellent authors who are not James Patterson and the like. (I was also going to say Janet Evanovich, but I never spell her name right.) There are now many older minor classics now available in the e-book form. They would have been much harder to get before.

Both kinds of books are important because there are all kinds of readers.

    1. Although I'll never turn my back completely on paper books, I have to admit that I agree with you, Joe. The more I use my eReaders, the more I like them.

  4. I'm a paper book.

That's funny because the last three purchases were ebooks. Then again, the three before that were print.

  5. I'm an e-book type too. Big, heavy e-books beat paper books every time and as for small font paper books much better as e-books! But I do like 'real' books!
