A Rainy Weekly Link Round-Up

Once I moved here to the desert, I learned a greater appreciation and respect for water. Rains-- if they come at all-- tend to be very seasonal. We have a monsoon season in late summer, and there's a period of rain in the winter. As long as an inch of rain isn't trying to come down in ten seconds or less, I absolutely love to listen to it falling from the sky. It is such a lush sound, and when it falls during the winter (as it is tonight) it makes me think of the promise of carpets of wildflowers in the spring. I haven't done much that's noteworthy during the past week, so instead of chattering away, I'm going to post the links and then retire to a warm cozy bed and the sound of raindrops.

  1. Cathy - We've had a lot of rain here this week and I've really liked it too. When you live in wildfire country, you appreciate every drop. Just like I appreciate these luverly links.

    1. Awww-- thanks, Margot! As long as you don't live in mudslide country, too, this rain should do you a world of good!
