Summer in October for This Weekly Link Round-Up

It's the middle of October here in the Sonoran Desert, and we're still flirting with triple digits. Fortunately I don't mind because the humidity is so low. It would be nice if we got more than a sniff of rain, though!

It's been another quiet week here at Casa Kittling, with me attempting to make cranberry oatmeal bread from scratch (success) and participating in my first-ever blog tour. Next week, I'd like to charge up my camera batteries and visit the Water Ranch again, or perhaps go further afield to the Boyce-Thompson Arboretum. We shall see.

Speaking of seeing, let's get to those links!

  1. I saw the piece about the Singing Wind and thought about you, Cathy.

  2. I've had my calendar for several weeks now. In 2008, I left it too late and had to go a year without my Reading Women!

  3. Kay-- The next time you're out this way, we could always leave your husband at the golf course while we take an overnight trip to Benson and Bisbee!

I love that t-shirt and calendar, too!
