October 2010 New Mystery Releases!

After a seemingly unending sea of new books to read and review by their publication dates, I like walking past my "ARC Stack" and seeing only one book sitting there-- and its release date is December!

I'm going to enjoy a little R&R and choose books to read from my TBR (to-be-read) shelves simply because they intrigue me. However, that doesn't mean that I won't be paying attention to new books on the horizon. If that happened, I'd know that I was either totally certifiable or that I at least needed to stop by the office and have my doctor take a look at me!

The following books are my top picks for new mysteries being released in October. The titles are grouped by release dates, and I've included the information you'll need to find them at all your favorite book spots. Let's see which titles have me drooling this month....

I think some of you are turning me into a cover junkie because I love the cover of The Shimmering Blond Sister. (Okay...I have this thing about lighthouses and the color blue!) If someone handed me this stack of books, I wouldn't know which one to read first.

Are any of these books on your own wish list? Do tell!

  1. None of them are on my wishlist but I have already read Christmas at the Mysterious Bookshop!

  2. As a cover junky myself, Strangers has caught my attention. There's just something about that girls look...and the book.

  3. I want a stack of just one!! I've actually been working really hard to get my ARCs read and to cut back on what is coming into the house because I want to read my own books and library ones!!

  4. Nicola-- I'll definitely have to take a look at your review. Thanks for the link!

Kris-- You're right about the expression on that girl's face....

Staci-- I'm enjoying not having a stack of books glaring at me as I walk past. It's wonderful to walk over to the shelves and just pick whatever I want.

Thank you for taking the time to make a comment. I really appreciate it!
