Kathy-- Different lichens. I've been in various areas of Arizona that have different colors of lichen covering rocks, trees, etc. The effect can be quite spectacular.

Margot JR-- I love wandering through forests. I never know what I'm going to find.

Barbara-- I was negotiating a slippery slope, so that's probably why I spotted this. It's amazing what you see when you're trying not to wind up in a stream filled with snowmelt! LOL
